Away from the hustle and bustle but just 5 minutes from Rock beach, you can relax and refresh in this newly renovated 3 bedroom cottage, in its own private garden with far-reaching views over the countryside. Spend the day on the beach before relaxing in the hot-tub, or blow away the cobwebs on the cliffside walks then warm up by the log-burner. Or try the fresh lobster, prepared just 100 yards away, washed down with delicious local wine, beer or gin.
Well-behaved dogs and children welcome too and will be safe in our contained garden, leaving you free to de-stress!

THE COTTAGE
Newly renovated, The Old Piggery, Cornwall, is a stunning three-bedroom, detached, cottage in its own garden complete with hot tub and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
The comfortable sitting room has a log-burner and deliciously comfortable sofas, plus flat-screen TV , DVDs, games and more.
The kitchen is well stocked for self catering - though why would you, with fantastic eateries all around?!
The king-size master suite has a lounge area, ensuite and balcony, overlooking stunning countryside. Bedroom 2 has a king-size bed, bedroom 3 a super-king or two singles as preferred. All quiet and comfortable for a great night's sleep.
The family bathroom has a large shower and corner bath.
Outside, a garden room, hot tub and BBQ deck complete the ingredients for a perfect week away.

Fully equipped kitchen plus great deli, bakery, fishmonger and butchers are minutes away.
Free Wifi
Unlimited wifi is available if you want to stay in touch with the outside world. We advise against it!
Garden
Enclosed garden and parking mean dogs and kids can be safely contained whilst you relax.
Towels and bedding
Towels and beach towels plus bedding are included - and use of washing machine and tumble dryer too.
Hot tub
Soak away the stress or warm up after a days's surfing - champagne optional but recommended!
Dining

Surrounded by great eateries plus fresh lobster and crab prepared just yards away - it's foodie heaven!

Beaches
Rock beach is just a 5 minutes drive away. From there you can walk to Daymer Bay, Polzeath and beyond - or drive to loads of Cornwall's amazing beaches and coves.
Some are dog-friendly, others are great surfing beaches - there's something for everyone.
Padstow
The ferry from Rock to Padstow will get you there in minutes and runs continuously. Padstow is full of shops and great eateries, including Rick Stein's restaurants and cafes.
Or just grab a Cornish pasty and watch the fishing boats from the harbour wall.
Activities
Surf the great North coast waves or cycle the miles of Camel trail. Walk the cliff paths or try your hand at paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing or more.
After an active day on land or sea, loosen those aching muscles in our hot tub!
Nearby
Art and culture buffs can visit the Tate St Ives, the outdoor Miracle theatre or venture further to the Minack theatre. Art galleries and museums abound.
Tintagel, Prideaux Place, Lanhydrock and Pencarrow House are all worth a visit.
Eateries
Just 100 yards from your door you can order freshly prepared crab and lobster. Or try the great butchers, bakers, fish shop and deli on the Rock road. Book one of the many great pubs, cafes and restaurants that abound in the area - check out the blog for some ideas.
For Kids

As well as sports or just making sandcastles on the beach, kids will love Newquay Zoo, the Eden project, the Bodmin steam railway and many more. Plus there are no end of wet weather options from soft play to bowling, Newquay aquarium to child-friendly historic houses.
